The 36th Art Annual starts Friday, April 29th at 5 pm and runs through Sunday, May 1st at 5 pm. The show is Kansas City’s first outdoor art show of the year, attracts top artists, is a favorite for many buyers and arts enthusiasts and is ranked amongst the best in the nation each year.

About the event
The Brookside Art Annual is celebrating its 36th year April 29th through May 1st, returning to the regular spring schedule. The Brookside Business Association / CID hope you'll join us to celebrate one of the KC metro's largest and most favored annual attractions right here in Brookside.
The show attracts top artists, is a favorite for many buyers and arts enthusiasts and is ranked amongst the best in the nation each year. The show draws people from across the region to the Brookside shopping district for the three-day event. The show recognized by participating artists for its focus on art, large attraction, volume of sales, and hospitality (we work hard to make your experience great while you’re our guests). This community loves art shows and the Brookside Art Annual consistently ranks in the top 25 shows according to Art Source.
Surrounded by quaint neighborhoods, the eclectic Brookside Shops become the center of the Midwest art community each May. The Brookside Art Annual is known for its festive atmosphere, hospitality, convenience, and is a must-attend event for artists and art seekers alike. Located in the center of Kansas City, Brookside is easy to access - just minutes from downtown, the Plaza and the Kansas City metro’s suburbs.
The show is located at 63rd and Brookside Boulevard (one block east of Wornall) between 63rd Street and Meyer Boulevard.
Art Annual Fair Hours: Friday, April 29th, 5pm-9pm Saturday, April 30th, 10am-9pm Sunday, May 1st, 11am-5pm
While you’re at the show, be sure to enjoy some of the best food Brookside has to offer, kids crafts and other activities too. Local restaurants serve up a variety of delicious food and drink options ranging from savory burgers to street tacos, wine to fresh limeades, and kettle corn to ice cream, all right in the show. There’s something for everyone!
The show is family friendly and there are activities for your little ones too. Thanks to our Title Sponsor Research Medical Center, supporting sponsor Cosentino’s Price Chopper, and Brookside’s Aplomb Martial Arts for hosting free kids activities and crafts Saturday and Sunday. There are also outstanding face painters and balloon artists available for a nominal fee all weekend.
